Odisha has become a leading State in Human Resource Management System (HRMS) applications. This was discussed in the Board of Governors Meeting of Center for Modernizing Govt Initiatives (CMGI) held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Aditya Prasad Padhi in secretariat conference hall today wherein Special Secretary GA Sri Ashok Meena along with Additional Secretary, Administrative Reforms Sri R.S. Gopalan presented the updates and outlined the issues for discussion. Reviewing the progress, Chief Secretary Sri Padhi directed to keep HRMS updated with latest circulars of Govt. Sri Padhi also directed to give necessary suggestions to bring about amendments in the existing regulations whenever necessary to make the system more useful and effective in management of human resources of the State Administration.
Available data show that HRMS soft ware has been successfully linked to Litigation management System ( LMS) software which would capture the latest position of various Govt cases being tried in high court and administrative tribunals.
